Established on 30 April 1992, the university has a long history as a centre of education, evolving from the former Government Teachers’ Training College and College of Education in Abraka. DELSU operates a multi-campus system with campuses in Abraka and Oleh, offering a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across disciplines including Arts, Education, Agriculture, Sciences, Engineering, Law, Medicine, Pharmacy, Management Sciences and Social Sciences. The university also offers postgraduate education through doctoral level. The university is focused on teaching, research, innovation and human-capacity development, with facilities and services that support academic and student life. Sep 20, 2026DELSU has a good academic environment with dedicated lecturers and a wide range of programmes. The campus has a lively student community, and there are plenty of opportunities to meet people and get involved in different activities. Overall, I had a good experience studying here.
